In this tutorial you will learn how to turn this :
(Use this picture for this tutorial.)
In to this :
Ok lets begin.
Ok first thing we are going to do is make the eyes look demon like.
Using the polygonal lasso tool (on the side panel) we need to make a selection around both of the eyes (hold The shift key while making the selection on the 2nd eye) like i have done :
(zoom in to make this easier)
Now we need to make a new layer (layer --> New --> Layer) or (shift + Ctrl + N )
Now select the Paint Bucket Tool and fill both of the selections with this the colour #330000
It should now look like this:
Next we need to put each eye on its own layer
To do this we will use the Rectangular Marquee Tool
Make a selection that surrounds 1 of the eyes like i have done :
Now we are going to cut the selected eye from this layer and place it on its onw layer
Cut the eye by either pressing " Ctrl + X " or going through the menu " Edit ---> Cut "
Now past it by either pressing " Ctrl + V " or going through the menu "Edit ---> Paste "
Now we should have both eyes on their own layer
Now we want to give the eyes the red glow and the black shading
To do this we use both an "Outer Glow" and a "Gradiant Overlay"
Lets start with the Outer Glow
Select 1 of the eyes then go the "Layer --> Layer Style --> Blending Options "
Now click on "Outer Glow" on the left hand side of this window
Use the same setting as i have done in the following picture for this (these can be adjusted as desired for different pictures)
(I have highlited the areas i made changes to)
Keep this window open and select "Gradiant Overlay" on the left (it is ticked in the picture above)
Now use the same setting that are in the following picture for this tutorial (again these can be changed for different pictures and preferences)
(The colours i used in the gradient are #330000 and #000000 with the #330000 as the inner colour)
(Again I have highlited the areas i made changes to)
We should now have it looking like this:
Now to make it look demon like
Select the main picture (the face) and either press " Ctrl + U "
Or go through the menu " Image --> Adjustments --> Hue/Saturation
And use the same settings as i did (again these settings can be altered to your liking)
(Again i have highlited the areas i made changes to) (note i checked the colorize tick box)
And thats all, you should now have a picture that looks like this:
